Help Needed PNG showing up as Icons

Help Needed PNG showing up as Icons

I have tried all I know to fix I cannot make anything as I cannot see my PNGs they show up as Icons, I have windows 11, and PSPx9, PSP Ultimate 2019.
I would really appreciate it if someone can help me

Hi there, Cheryl...

I'm assuming they're showing up as icons instead of thumbnails in Windows folders, not in PSP. If that's correct, I can walk you through it to check your File Explorer folder options. I have Windows 10, but it still should be the same or something similar.

1. Open File Explorer.
2. Click on "File" in the upper left corner.
3. Click "Folder and Search Options".
4. Click on "View".
5. Make certain that there is not a checkmark next to "Always show icons, never thumbnails." If there is a checkmark, uncheck it, and click apply.

Can you at least open the files in PSP or do they not open at all?

Did you try googling Cheryl? It sounds like there's a setting off in your Windows. I'm running Windows 11 and can see the PNGs, so you should be able to as well. However, since I can see them I'm not sure how to help you smiley
