I'm starting to make my first actions on Photoshop and I was wondering how to check if these actions are compatible with all versions of Photoshop. Is it necessary to download all the versions of Photoshop for that (it must be super heavy for the PC 
). Is there a specific plugin, a software or something else to test it?
How do you proceed? What do you advise me?

I think you may have to actually test them in older versions to see if they work. Ideally, it's good to have testers to try things out and see how it goes. Or just say it works for current Photoshop.
I would ask for a few volunteers who have other versions of PS, and just keep track of each version they have so you can make it known to your customers what versions it has been tried out in.
I had a few of my scripts redone for Photoshop and I had to have volunteers who used various versions, AND also on PC and Mac. I had about 8 people test them, and the results were not always straightforward. I stopped trying to make actions for Photoshop!
Oh yes, it requires a lot of tests beforehand and some headaches sometimes x)! I'm curious, I'll try to make one and depending on the result, I'll repeat the experience or not
