PSE or PS

I have been using PSE for years now but lately I have been wondering if I should upgrade to PS. What do you all use? Is PS mostly for designers or really advanced people?

I haven't used PSE much, so it's hard to speak to what you are missing. I would think if you are just creating layouts, PSE would have everything you need. Maybe someone else can shed some actual light on this topic smiley

@Michelle Cubbage: What made you wonder if you should upgrade to PS? When did you feel limited by PSE? What jobs do you have in mind that PSE cannot do for you? One way to find to out is to use a free trial of PS and dive into Adobe university and just go from there.
On the other hand, if you wonder you should probably just follow your wonders and go get PS if just for a trial.
I mostly use PS only for image manipulation jobs but I have the elements+ plugin that will convert PSE to PS, another good option for only 10 or so bucks. CC acts so independently and slows down my system so annoyingly that I mostly stick to PSE beefed up with the elements+ plugin which is just as good as PS.

Probably just PS envy can't really think of much that I am really missing. Thanks for the reminder that bigger is not always better. Good idea to do the free trial and I'll look into the plug ins too thanks.

Oh my gosh, Bina, for only $12 and no subscription. Wow, totally worth it.
