Hello, I was just wondering if there was any way to change the color of styles, specifically in Photoshop Elements? thanks

I have 2 ways I go about this:

1)Most styles that come in a specific color and are not in a gray/overlay type of style that can create any color, you would need to simplify the layer(I believe you are PSE, correct? I have PSE 2020, right click on it in your layers palette and click on simplify) and then use your color slider:

enhance>adjust color>adjust hue/saturation

and then work with the "Hue" slider until you have the color you need.

2)Use this same set of steps but change the actual element to gray scale by taking the "Saturation" slider to zero.

Then you use a clipping mask over the element layer and paint bucket in whatever color you are wanting, then in your layers palette set that clipped color layer to "color" in the drop down menu at the top left of the layers window.

I have found that photoshop is one of those things that has many ways to achieve the same end result.

If there are any steps in either scenario you don't know or understand, let me know, not sure if your 2021(right?) interface is the same as my 2020. Sometimes they change a window and it's impossible to explain the change to someone who's never seen it, lol.
