Cancer Mums

Are there any other mums on here that are managing or have survived cancer while raising kids?

I have had lymphoma twice in the last two years. Have been in remission since May x

Hello Janey. Wow thats a lot. So sorry to hear. I dont have/had it. just family who did.

I will pray for you smiley.

Janey, I've been Lucky No cancer, blood clots but no cancer, yet anyway. Sorry you are having to deal with that and still raise a family. I hope you find fellow survivors on this site. Prayers!!

Thanks, Liza!
Prayers are always appreciated x

Thank you x

Thank you!

Wow Janey, that's a lot to deal with sweetie. I will pray for you and your health and children and strength to make it through all you have set before you. I've had a couple minor female cancer scares that involved several surgeries throughout this horrid last 18 months but thank God all the various biopsies and tissues tested all came back benign... and I'm not a mom to boot so a lot easier than your situation.. Love & Blessings for the best future ahead for you... and healing to wholeness in your body.

I haven't any personal experience with what you're dealing with. I'll lift you in prayer, Janey. {hugs}

Hi Janey,

I myself am not affected, but I was a nurse for many years. That's why I would like to introduce you to another doctor.

This graphic may save everyone who is affected or would like the apostle healing prayer for intercession. It is not in the Bible, it was revealed and dictated only in the 19th century to the Austrian prophet Jakob Lorber 1800-1864, from the inner Word of God.
I also pray it in intercession, have written it down in the note sheets of my Bible. You are also welcome to print it out and stick it in your Bible, just a tip.

If you want to know more about the prophet Lorber, you are welcome to write to me via "Contact". There are translated, free and copy free PDF files, audio files and videos of the 25 books dictated by God in several languages.

I wish you God's blessing and good recovery.

Thanks, Doska ...

I am a believer, too.
Thank you for the beautiful scroll - I had not heard of Lorber before x

Thanks, Sharin x

Thank you x

Thanks, Shawna!

I have 5 kiddos - 16, 14, 12, 11 and 8. We also regularly look after our 12 year old God-daughter. I teach Primary School 4 days/week - Grade 2 this year! My 16 and 14 year olds can be full on. Our God-daughter also has a lot of familial issues and learning difficulties. The younger three are thankfully very cruisey kids, and usually a joy to have around!

In the last almost 3 years, I've had lymphoma twice, had 3 cervical cancer scares, and 2 eosophageal cancer scares. I also have chronic ENT issues!

I get through with God's help. It also helps that I have a super supportive husband. We don't really have family support, but we have a small group of good friends.

My philosophy has always just been to do what I can, when I can - if you start thinking about the enormity of it all, it weighs you down in fearx

Thanks for responding to my post - it's reassuring to know that people I've not even met are thinking of me x

Hey Janey. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 at the age of 36, just before my youngest had his first birthday - and right before we went into lockdown. Going through cancer treatment during the pandemic has been a trip. I've been NED since March last year.

I have three boys (9, 7, and 3) and a wonderful husband that kept everything running while I went through chemo, surgery, radiation, and everything else that's been going on over the last two years. It's a crazy thing to go through, isn't it? I've been lucky so far (aside from the incredible bad luck of getting cancer in the first place) and I've finally gotten to the point where I'm not thinking about it every day and freaking out everytime I get a headache or something.

The other day I was thinking I should totally make a F**K Cancer kit to document my experience - and that's when I realised that I'm healing and that it's time to start getting creative again.

Thanks for sharing your story Trish smiley

Hi, I'm sorry you have had to go through cancer twice. I personally haven't had cancer but my sister had ovarian cancer she died from it in 2006. My mom had breast cancer when I was younger. She ended up with bladder cancer and died from it in 2008. Now my pomeranian has cancer and there's not much that can be done for her. Cancer is a terrible disease and I wish they could find a cure.

So sorry for your losses Karen smiley

So I have been absent for about a year. I have been fighting stage 4 metastatic melanoma since September 2021. After a few surgeries, a failed attempt at Keytruda more surgeries and now another set of targeted medications I'm finally starting to feel a little more like myself. I have a son in 5th grade that's all about the sports! He's involved in everything. I love designing and coming up with new things here but the last year I have been plagued with a complete lack of energy and zero creativity. I'm hoping to get back into it soon!! Cancer sucks and I don't wish it on anyone. Please wear your sunscreen and get your skin checked!!

So sorry to hear about this Karry. Glad you are starting to feel better and wishing you renewed health smiley

smiley I'm so sorry to hear this, Karen. I was thinking of you the other day when I looked at your beautiful kits. I hope that you can continue to get better enjoying your son's sport events. smiley Much love smiley
