Has anyone got a suggestion please ?

I have a whole album of 12x12 scrapbook pages in we r memory keepers covers. I just looked at them and they are all so “cloudy” and not easy to see the pages. Has anyone else come across this , and if so is there a remedy ? I am not complaining about the covers as they are very high quality but just not sure how to start to remedy it. I have tried putting a new stiffer duster inside but it doesn’t really get rid of it. Thanks so much for your help with this.

This is a case where I would contact WeR and seek their help. They may ask for photos to be able to assess the problem. I'm sorry, I don't have a suggestion for you.

Thank you anyway. I will do that. I have also tried washing one with washing up liquid then drying it with a kitchen towel but it's not even a great result after that. So I am stumped!

It sounds really odd that this is happening. I haven't heard of it before. Good luck with the manufacturer.

Gill, did you ever get a chance to contact them and get an answer or suggestions? I've had this happen with some of my page protectors, too. Not necessarily WeR but I just chalked it up to the plastic or PVC free material they use. I tried the same thing as you... I even washed them with Dawn and let them dry out real good but still had "cloudiness" and some streaks after that. LoL

I don't know if this would affect the archival quality of the (page protectors?), but do you think that cleaning wipes for spectacle lenses would help? Just a suggestion, but it may not be a practical one!
