Challenge Starting: Lockdown Challenge - 30 Days of Creativity

I'm already doing the 100dayproject challenge of doing something creative for 10 minutes everyday. So from the 15th on, I will try to make that 10 minutes more pixelscrapper friendly (not sewing or embroidery).

Sounds fun. My goal is going to be to participate more and do more layouts & upload them to my gallery!

Well I started a 80 days Junk journal challenge of course it is hybrids. It is going wonderful so far using Marisa's and Jessica's kits. Not scrapbooking per say but on my pages scrapbook layouts are used for memory keeping as well. Plus I'm taking Robin Sampson classes to keep me challenged. I will try to upload more in the gallery as well.

I'm gonna try for 2 LOs a week, and 3 comments a day plus 3 pins to Pinterest from our gallery here at PS.

I like Melo's idea. I will work on something everyday that relates to designing. It might be watching a tut about a new skill, recoloring an item, or starting a Pocket Scrapbooking project.

Just had a fun idea for my challenge and it involves a chart! Check out my blog post if you want more details, and the chart to use for yourself.

Jordan is planning to have a nice simple tracker for everyone here on DigitalScrapbook.com to mark the days, but I wanted something with a bit more detail to keep me motivated.

Can't wait to get started now!

I’d love to take part but honestly have no idea (yet) what goal to set. I have a couple of big projects that are stagnating as I hit a creative block part way through. So I want something quick - an instant gratification project. Hmmm... Thinking cap time.

Just getting back into digital scrapbooking I feel like this is a great kickstart.

My goals...
A - I told my mom I would organize her recipes (which means I'll type them out and design a book for her)
B - Find a new project to start since I feel out of ideas.

This sounds like fun! I've been scrapping less because I'm already sitting at my kitchen table for work, but I need to get back at it smiley I think I'm going to say I'll finish and upload 5 layouts, along with commenting on 5 layouts each time I upload one (plus any done specifically for whatever challenge I'm completing). That works better for me than a daily commitment . . . hope that's ok.

-I would like to complete 2 pages a day.
-Start my Ireland trip
-Finish my niece's high school graduation album as much as I can.

1. I would like to do a layout a day for the thirty days.
2. Learn to do shadow styles.
3. Do at least two layouts per CT Kit

I'll be happy to do anything! I need to get my mojo back and spend more time doing creative things.

I'd love to join - my goal would be to just work on any page in my 2019 scrapbook for 15 minutes - but as a religious Jew, I can't log on to my computer on any Saturday (and probably Friday, too - it's a busy day, getting ready for Sabbath), as well as on Apr 15 and 16 (final two days of Passover). Any way around that?

Trying to get back into scrapping after a loooong hiatus.
COVID19 wise things are ok where I am and school holidays are wrapping up. My hubby is a teacher and Im a nurse.
Im not sure if I can commit to anything as I think Il either be working or homeschooling the kids....
Maybe I can commit to logging on and commenting on two layouts smiley

My goal for the 30 days will be to do at least 4 pages a day. I only digiscrap so hopefully this will be doable. I am also challenging myself to catch up on other craft projects I have in the works. We are going to our lake place this weekend so I will take my laptop!

I'll try.
Just dl'ed the chart, many thanks!
I have one or two ideas. smiley
It's impossibe for me to commit to posting every day but I can come around later.

We have so much going on here. It's hard for me to find time to even get on the internet lately. My hubs is in IT for 7 medical facilities and our state has a TON of cases/deaths. We are actually on lockdown until at least May 1st... Most all of our personal appts have been rescheduled for mid June or later. smiley Although my hubs still travels due to needing to provide working environments for all the staff. He works from home as much as possible but with the new provisions he has to make (for staff & residents) he's working even more hours trying to maintain a community for the elderly who cannot even leave their rooms with broadcasting Church services, entertainment, info. etc via the TV's in their rooms.

I will make my challenge two-fold and do my best.
1) I will commit to commenting on the layouts others share as I know this encourages and helps us be creative in knowing what works and doesn't. (at least 2/day or 15/week depending on my internet access)
2) I think (well, I know... LoL) I NEED to organize my IRL craft supplies and do some "spring cleaning overhaul" of sorts to my room. So, I will commit to at least 15 mins daily to doing this. Maybe my stuff will be easier to find and use when this is all over. It's a MESS!!! LoL smiley

Okay - I'm in. I'm going to work on a layout every day. I hope to do a full one each day but make no guarantees (especially since I'm still sewing masks for friends & family - apparently they don't know anyone else who sews & I love it so...). My plan is to (so embarrassing) finish my 2016 December Daily & then move on to 2017. Or maybe do 2019 & work backwards. Who knows.

And thank you for both the challenge & the daily chart, Marisa - I love the idea & will be using it in some form!

I would like to be able to complete a layout a day as I have so many travel photos which need to be put into a book.
I would also like to explore designing my own elements.

I love this goal here - Create at least 10 new layouts, with 10 products I have collected but never used. (That will be a challenge since I often return to my favorites ...)

What a great idea!

Oh my word, 100 layouts in 100 days!?!? Wow!!! That's impressive! I need to get a lot less picky if I want to accomplish that! On the other hand, maybe I'd finally finish my SIX YEAR OLD'S baby album!! smiley

I decided to go with a bingo thing too - fab idea Marisa, thanks.

Happy lockdown challenge everyone!

I so need this! I have been in such a creative rut, always starting things and barely finishing any! I am gathering things to make a corona journal, so I think I will make this my goal. I doubt I'll manage a layout a day but as I'm doing hybrid I'll also count things like laying out items to print, printing, and cutting.

Thanks so much for creating this challenge and the habit tracker!

I am so in for this challenge. I feel so fortunate that I have the availability of a computer all day long as well as the time (sick leave) to create my scrapbooks. I have been in somewhat of a funk lately so need something like this to give me a good push. I plan on making a scrapbook page a day (30 in the end) as well as return to some previous techniques that I have used in my pages. My number one goal however, will be to learn (re-learn) and become comfortable with uploading pages to this site.
I feel guilty to be in a position to work on this daily, especially when I read what other scrappers are dealing with right now. My heart goes out to everybody and I pray for safety and health to all.

I would like to challenge myself to spend at least 30 minutes in my craft room every day. I uploaded my first youtube video today to share some of my crafts with my family and friends since I live a few states away from all of them. So while spending time in my craft area I will also be trying to take more videos and get better at it. It's harder than it looks. lol As soon as I start the camera I forget all my words! If you have 15 minutes to practice patience and kindness you should check it out and be sure to comment and let me know that you came from over here. My channel name is Auntie K Kreations. Hope you all are successful with the Lockdown Challenges you make for yourselves. smiley

Our challenge starts today! Everyone ready for a great 30 days of creativity? smiley

I'm excited to start this! I've shared my personal plan on my blog, here.

If you like, you can track your progress throughout the 30 days on our new Creative Streak Tracker widget. Juts create a challenge and tag it with "2020 lockdown challenge." For help, see this forum post.

Love all the encouragement and accountability! I have an album for a trip that we took last year that I keep stalling out on. So I will commit to

- 2 pages a day
- ready to send the book to print by the end of the 30 days
- viewing and responding to others posts as well

I'm in too. In fact, I thought I had rambled on here a few nights' ago trying to get my head around what I would like to achieve but our internet dropped out so my ramblings never actually made it here. Probably a good thing really!

@Marisa - I really like your idea of a chart so I think I will create something similar.

My goals will start with:
#1: I will make a goal
#2: I will make a plan to achieve that

So I had better get cracking and sort out exactly the projects that are achievable.

Some of these projects are:
- Learning to use my new iPad Pro effectively
- Organising my digital supplies
- My daughter's wedding album
- An Alll about Me album (a challenge within my little scrapbooking group here)

Will think about timing of these once I wake up properly (It's 5am here) - and will make a chart like Marisa's to keep me on track.

Looking forward to a productive and creative 30 days
Trish

Are there actual challenges or are we just setting goals for ourselves?

@April: We made a new goal tracker on the site. Learn more about it here.
