@Harriett - oh, I hear you on the space (I live in a small 1760s house with exactly one closet!) but I spend most of my work life on the computer (I do research for a non-fiction author as well as freelance layout & design) so I desperately need *off* the computer when I'm done for the day. And I think, as you said, it is the "tactile-ness" that I really need after a day spent living digitally! Which is not to say that I don't spend any off hours on the computer (witness it being Saturday on a gorgeous sunny day in WMass, & here I am!).
Thank you, ladies. @Sarah, I used to paper scrap and I still miss the tactile-ness , but I love the neatness and speed of digital plus it takes up a lot less space in both the scrapping process and the final product.

Digital scrapper of travels and family activities, including those of 8 grandchildren. Still love cooking, both old and new recipes, even after 50+ years of it. Love traveling except for the getting there. (Does anyone enjoy airline travel anymore?)

I like the way you used one photo in the multi-frame on the left. I see this garden is in Portland; I visited it several years ago.
