Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
I wanted to find a way to mark a year's growth for each of my girls. So, after getting inspiration from a layout on a blog over Christmas (they used it to display winter photos - so wish I had noted the blog so that I could give credit), this is what I came up with. Each year I'm going to attempt to put together one of these initial layouts for both of my little sweethearts. Hopefully it will be a way to track their growth and how their interests/skills change over time.
Text reads... Annelyse Melissa three years old loves her baby sister ~ enjoys playing with her ponies, barbies, babies, and tea set ~ can balance and hop on one foot, run like the wind and hide like a ninja ~ would happily drink ‘Daddy Coffee’ 24 hours a day, & loves to eat veggies (especially carrots) ~ loves reading with mommy and daddy, being outside, going to the park in our back yard, and going for walks ~ her favorite TV shows are ‘Infested’ & ‘Scooby Doo’ ~ She enjoys watching any and all Disney films ~ she adores tickling her baby sister and teaching her all that she knows. We love our big girl more and more each day and are so proud of her!

Wow, I love scraps that are decorated with big fonts. Must have been a lot of work to put the photos in the A shape. I also like the circumscribed edge of the letter.

Thanks so much ladies. As much fun as I had making this one, seeing my daughter's face as I read the text to her was the icing on the cake. She asked me to read it over and over, all the time grinning. Mission accomplished. :)
Oh, and Melouise, feel free to lift it!! I actually modified a layout that I saw over Christmas. The original had a lot less pictures and a bunch more embellishments on a patterned paper. Also, the text read 'W is for Winter' all around it. So there are many variations that can be done! Loved the concept. :)
