About Me
Hey there,
I'm Janet. I was born and raised in Minnesota. My favorite title is mommy to two of the smartest, most beautiful, spunky, sweet girls out there. When I'm not taking care of the little peanuts, I run my photography and design businesses.
I stumbled across DigitalScrapbook.com early on when it was first started (before it became the site that it is today). Ironically, I ended up messaging Marisa to see if I could help contribute. I wanted to find a way to give back. Little did I realize that years later I would end up being fortunate enough to join this fab team! :)

Meet my beautiful big girl Annelyse. She was born at 35 weeks completely unresponsive due to the cord being wrapped around her neck twice. Though she spent quite a bit of time under billi-lights, she recovered from her dramatic birth fairly quickly. My little 5 pound 8 ounce baby is now a happy, healthy, smart 31 pound almost three and a half year old sweetheart who absolutely adores her baby sister.
This is the corresponding page that matches her sister Sophia's page.

Oh my goodness. This perfectly captures those gorgeous eyes! Way to go!
Look at those eyes! Beautiful!
Your LO are all just beautiful and your photography is fantastic, and your daughters are so beautiful..put together they make for some stunning LO!!
Great layout! I LOVE the fabulous picture! She is beautiful!
Oh, almost forgot, @Lorraine, what a fantastic outcome for your granddaughter! So glad to hear of it! :)
Thank you to each of you for your sweet comments. Annelyse continues to adore her baby sister (and now that Sophia is a bit older she can't get enough of her big sister either). The other day I was looking back at pictures of Annelyse that I took while pregnant with Sophia. She looked like a baby. Just can't believe how quickly she is growing up! :/
For those of you who commented on her eyes. Neither her daddy nor I can take credit for them. She got her baby blues from both of her grandfather's (the only ones in either of our families that have blue eyes). Boy, oh boy, does she know how to use them to get what she wants. :)
@Kris, we're crossing our fingers that they continue to get along as well as they are now. To be honest, considering the small age difference, I expected Annelyse to have some pretty major jealousy issues (have heard many horror stories). So far so good though. I chalk it up to the long NICU stay. She REALLY wanted her baby sister to come home. There were many nights that she cried that she couldn't see her...wanting her to come home. Fingers crossed that they continue to be the best of buds!
what a beautiful and precious girl! WOW!
Gosh another miracle baby. You have certainly had your struggles in that department haven't you? Thankfully, God has seen fit to bless you with two healthy little girls when all is said and done. Her eyes just pop out of the picture. It is nice to have the same layout for both your daughters.
My oh my what a precious little girl. My granddaughter was born at 26 weeks, weight 1 lb. 10. oz, 12" long. She just turned 16 years old this October. Miracles do happen. Love the color combo and the font.
I really like this layout! You can easily concentrate on the picture and nothing is distracting but supporting. Great.
Wow, what a stunning photo! Though it must be easy to make such pretty pictures with such a beautiful girl... ;-)
