About Me
I am recently retired and live in southern British Columbia, Canada. I have been scrapbooking for many years; starting with traditional and now digital. I love the freedom and creativity of digital scrapbooking. As a result of wanting to improve my scrapbooking, I have become very interested in photography. After some lessons & a new camera, I am now addicted. I have also been learning to play the harp for the last 5 years.

I love to shoot Blue Hour photos. This was my first try at it 2 years ago.

Blue hour is earlier these days, Cheryl, so you should get out. We could try to remember on Friday night and do Kamloops from the end of your road.
Another lovely shot. Good on you for posting the blue hour info. Darren's post on blue hour is excellent. Now to get out and shot some!
Thanks, Kaleena.
Thanks, Jade. Blue Hour starts about an hour before the sun comes up or about 1/2 an hour after sunset and lasts about 30-45 minutes. You need a tripod as you have to set a longer shutter speed. This is a site that will tell you when Blue Hour is in your area. http://www.bluehoursite.com/ and this is my sons site that tells you how to shoot at Blue Hour. https://www.facebook.com/notes/dragonbyte-photo/getting-started-with-blue-hour-photography/664506790272774
Beautiful - I love how you used the gold on the corners.
This photo, and the corresponding Victoria Harbour ones on your other layout, are stunning! I have never heard of blue hour, when is it and is this only at a certain time of year as well like summer or winter?
