We made the choice some time ago to continue sheltering at home due to Covid. That means we would miss our annual trip to the apple orchard. So I decided to bring the orchard day to us!
It was an apple bobbing, gem searching, (mini) hay stack climbing, bonfire, homemade apple cider, apple & pumpkin pies, and kettle corn kind of day!
The kids were most excited about the gem search & my oldest at home even brought out his bow & arrow for some archery practice. Such a great day! It was a bit extra in the way of work since I had to make all the food but in the end it was all worth it!
