'The Curio Pantry' is what I design under. If you are not familiar with my designs they are a bit eclectic, mostly elegant & vintage inspired designs with a little cuteness here and there. I dabble with hand drawing so at times you may see some of that worked into kits.

We have begun to take the paint off in patches to repair and repoint the brickwork. I love repointing brick and hubby does the repairs. Altho brickwork is not his favorite thing. We use historic mortar, as opposed to modern mortar, so as not to break the historic “soft” brick. August 7-10 we will be very busy repairing the section under the window. It has seen badly done repairs which have further damaged the brick below. You simply cannot use cement mortar for old brick! It’s naturally harder than old brick and over time will crack the brick. The before photo is actually after scraping/cleaning off paint & digging out mortar to repoint. We will limewash when done to protect the brick. | Found this piece of ceramic up inside the mortar of the brick. Very curious how it could have gotten there.

Love this one!
You should put that piece of pottery in a kit! ;) Just saying...lol
This is a lovely way to document your renovations! I love how you used the distressed papers in here, it gives your brick pictures an effect of being more of a texture themselves and really draws attention to the ceramic bit.
Thank you ladies! We will be at this for some time as we are taking it in small batches. @Linda Well I do tend to gravitate toward "busy" pocket pages lol!
Wow, what a gorgeous page! And an impressive undertaking!! Good luck with the restoration
Gorgeous. I had to look twice to realize it was a pocket page. I like how you angled the top middle journaling box slightly askew from the rest. Nicely done.
Wonderful page , beautiful memories
Wow- amazing undertaking. Well documented!
