@AMarie - Hope they lay for you soon! Our early layers laid at 4 months old but we had some as late as 6 or 7 months start. So depends on the hen. It will be pretty exciting when you get that first egg tho! ♥

Description

Just a day in my life. Sometimes there are slower days but Spring/Summer seem to always be very busy! I do take some shortcuts like using this amazing 1 hour french bread. Anyone who makes yeast bread will know how amazing a 20 min rise then 20 min cooking time is! And for the coop we use nest pads from amazon to make a fresh clean nest a breeze. Happy chickens mean more eggs. smiley
