My name is Jessica but you can call me Jessi or Jess if you prefer! Curiopantry.com is my blog where you can find freebies and inspiration. If you are not familiar with my designs they are a bit eclectic, mostly elegant & vintage inspired designs with a little cuteness here and there. I dabble with hand drawing so at times you may see some of that worked into kits.

Journaling: For more than a week E has been looking forward to having a snow day. He even wrote “Snow Day” on his school planner. The forecast changed and changed as he watched it like a hawk. It wasn’t looking like we would get much snow, but the negative temps seemed to stay in the forecast. When the storm came in it rained, then froze & snowed...and snowed...and snowed. We got the better part of 2 1/2 - 3 inches of snow with deep snow drifts. It was later revealed our area had seen a blizzard. Tho little E couldn't get out much to play in it because of the -8 with -27 winds chills we did take a spin around the yard for just a few minutes. We have not been thru a blizzard for 14 years! This was not just a snow day for E, but his first blizzard! | We enjoyed the day just relaxing, watching Chipwrecked & Madame Secretary. We baked a turkey to help keep it extra warm in the house. Thankfully we didn’t see any power or water loss. | We have a tempest weather station outside. This was the reading it took on Dec 23rd. Old brick house and wood stove made the indoor humidity drop to 1%.

Thank you Bourico, Linda, and Deanna for your kind comments! @Deanna I grew up in Florida so I know what you mean about not much snow. I am probably making up for lost time, as I get just as excited as my youngest son with a good snowfall lol! @Bourico So happy to hear your computer is working again! So glad you are back with us too!
Hello Jessica, I'm back, my computer is working again, I don't know why but it's working after 3 weeks without wanting to work!!
I am very happy to be among you!
Happy New Year 2024 to all of you
Oh my! This is a wonderful layout and your description made it perfect. I loved reading about your snow/blizzard. How fun those days are and make wonderful memories. We don't get much snow where I live so I appreciate seeing layouts of people who actually get snow. Simply wonderful!
