About Me
I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 30 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. I stumbled onto PixelScrapper about 2014, which of course is now DigitalScrapbook, and right away began develping my design skills where I was able to do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I also teach water aerobics. Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. I peruse the net to learn new technique or enhance existing ones every month.

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
This is for the May 8 LO challenge "scraplift yourself." This is a series of photos I took 15 years ago with my first digital camera, an old Olympus with a motor drive and a whoppin' 1.4 megapixel resolution--the first "high-resolution" digital camera. Well, it still works and takes decent photos, though the thing is the size of a small Mack truck! I scraplifted a layout I did a few years back, which you can see here: https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/sites/default/files/styles/456_scale/public/s3fs-user-content/layout-image/user-25662/node-24871/slices-of-soccer-layout-sports-multiple-photos-storybook-creator-software-blue-gray.jpg?itok=aRXKU9WS . My daughter spent most of her time upside down in the air when she was on this trampoline here and at her gymnastics training, so I wanted to capture that motion with these photos.

Lovely!
Julie, this is an awesome layout. The letter treatment in the photos of her bouncing upside down is fantastic. And the dotted bounce line finished the page so nicely.
Awesome photos! The letters are really cool too! I've never thought to use a photo on them.
Thank you for your comments, ladies. I thought I lost these photos forever when I pulled up the CD archive and PhotoShop couldn't read the "file" from my old mac. When I copied them to my HD, I just saved them with a .jpg and was able to open them. So relieved!
This is so fun, Julie! Great layout.
Such a fun page, Julie! I love the dotted bounce line!
