About Me
I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 30 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. I stumbled onto PixelScrapper about 2014, which of course is now DigitalScrapbook, and right away began develping my design skills where I was able to do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I also teach water aerobics. Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. I peruse the net to learn new technique or enhance existing ones every month.

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
Going to go out to bag the wily and elusive Christmas tree today. Snow and cold weather settled in just in time to make it feel like the Christmas season. To get in the spirit, I bought a few new Christmas ornaments. I've been on a quest the last couple years to document some of our favorite ornaments by taking photos of them and making scrapbook pages so after we're gone, our children will remember how and where they came to be in our collection. I used Kimeric Kreation's Night Before Christmas bundle at the Digichick for this page. Even if you don't want to include pages in a scrapbook (though why wouldn't we?) you can still do this-- take photos, print them out, put them in plastic sleeves and include information about the ornament on the back of the photo. Include them in a photo album (or) in your ornament box when you store them away. You know you're gonna walk down memory lane every time you get them out, anyway... I always suggest this for friends who don't scrapbook but who want to document those special ornaments. They could do a small flip book.
