About Me
I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 25 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. Thanks to PixelScrapper, I have honed my design skills and do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I work from home and volunteer for a local non-profit called the Dylan Steigers Concussion Project. I also teach water aerobics at our local Women's Club. (Otherwise, I might sit on the couch all day designing!). Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. My goal is to try to learn a new technique or enhance existing ones every month so I can give back to this wonderful community of scrapbookers through the PS blog trains.

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
It's tough to say goodbye to a beloved member of your family. We had to put our beagle of 13-plus years down the Friday before Memorial Day. The title came about when I showed my husband the box that came back with her ashes, and I said, "Here's love in a box." The older we get, the harder it is to say goodbye to our pets, dammit. I used Janet Scott’s Bad Day paint template for snoopy/Charlie Brown photo mask at top, and for a color wash on the bottom of the page, but other than that, the rest of the paper and elements are from the June 2016 DigitalScrapbook.com Blog Train "Yesteryear" for this page. Here's the rundown--hope I got everyone: Janet Scott (Butterfly, Cream paper behind journaling); Antebellum Design House (love brad); Kayl Turesson (Alpha heart charm/photo frame, argyle paper masked); AJanner (background paper, & borders, recolored, to make up photo frame); Dirty Art Designs (heart on twine element, thread element).
