About Me
I'm a freelance editor, writer and photographer. I picked up cardmaking as an art hobby more than 30 years ago. That led to scrapbooking, but really took off when digital scrapbooking software started popping up on the market. I stumbled onto PixelScrapper about 2014, which of course is now DigitalScrapbook, and right away began develping my design skills where I was able to do some small design jobs for hire, along with my regular editing and writing. I live in the beautiful state of Montana where I also teach water aerobics. Besides a passion for photography, I love sports, flyfishing, cardmaking, gardening, and walking. I peruse the net to learn new technique or enhance existing ones every month.

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
I'm in the process of making several pages of favorite Christmas decorations and ornaments. This page is for a December 2014, 48-hour flash challenge using white space on the page. While I didn't use an actual template, I was inspired by one from Kim Broedelet and did use a few elements from a template by her (Kimb's designs) for the frames outside and on top of the photo. Besides the frames, I used only three elements in this layout, two, a tree and glitter ornament from from Brooke Gazarek's beautiful Touch of Sparkle bundle (https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/brooke-gazarek/kits/touch-of-sparkle-christmas-bundle-holidays-winter-snow-glitter-blue-green-red) here at DigitalScrapbook.com; and a snow swirl that I made for the upcoming (Jan. 2015) Winter Arabesque blog train.
