Yep, I'm agreeing with a pocket page. Or even better, turn it into a 2-page layout with pocket pages. Perhaps take the one quilt you like the best and feature it by placing it across the center of both pages, then put the other photos around it. Maybe fore smaller pocket "pieces" you can extract parts of the photos that show the quilts and use it like a paper square within the layout. I'm not a quilter, but I love quilt shows! Have fun!

I know this is late but I agree with the others and think, maybe a more structured grid layout would showcase everything with out seeming "cluttered" (for lack of a better word). I also think adding a stroke around each photo might help highlight each photo and break everything up a bit more. One more thing, I would do is have a solid background, it could have a quilt like texture but it won't take away from the beautiful photos. Hope I helped a little...

Kaleena, are all the elements (except the word art and thread spools and background paper) photos of the quilts? If so, it might work to use one of those wood photo templates that would make them kind of all the same size visually, and then add the photos of you and your mother-in-law in separate frames as you have them here. You could even leave a couple of the wood template spaces blank behind them since you won't see those, and you won't be covering up any of the quilt photos.
I'm just thinking that would add an organized place for your eyes to settle, and then you could see each quilt in all it's glory!
Just my two cents worth!

Hope it helps!

I think it looks pretty good for all you have going on. A more even grid with one highlighted photo may help bring some sense of order and help focus on the photos more. Something like this: https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/marisa-lerin/designs/layout-template-154

okay, A) I am not a designer B) i am not a pocket scrapper...however it seems to me that pics of quilts could almost be used like patterned paper, and showcased in a pocket style layout fairly well--then the quilts patterns would seem to be visually competing? the structure of the page would help the eye see all the patterns, does that make sense?? maybe like this template from Violet? https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/violet-irisovna/designs/pocket-basics-page-templates-pack-2-d2-graphic-layout-scrapping...
