This mural, located at the intersection of Alberta & MLK in North Portland, is by Isaka Shamsud-Din, one of the most famous Portland muralists, especially focusing on the African-American experience over the history of the region. Parts of this mural depict the jazz scene, police brutality, the Vanport Flood, the Black Panthers, and gentrification. Part of the Albina Mural Project.
