About Me
I am a stay at home Mum to one little girl and a craft addict, I don't feel right if I don't get my crafting fix!I have always crafted in some form or another and tried my hand at all sort including glass painting, jewellery making, sewing, crochet, card making and scrapbooking. I discovered scrapbooking about 10 years ago and got hooked. After years of disregarding digital scrapping I had a sudden conversion in November 2013 and instantly became addicted. Now I can't believe I was so anti it before! As a full time Mum digital scrapping fits so much better into my life and budget at the moment but I will never give up all my lovely stash! I try to make digital layouts in the same style as I would paper ones and make then look as "real" as possible by only using elements which would work on a paper layout, adding shadows and using "glow" to recreate the inking I always add to my paper layouts! I look forward to exploring this new world and having fun here at PS.
At 18 months after I started on this digital adventure I am still loving it and have been accepted on to several Creative Teams, including here at PS! The next step is to try designing!

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
This LO was inspired by several of the challenge prompts this month; firstly the Google Earth challenge got me thinking about the places I've been and the Leonard Nimoy quote got me thinking about our place in the universe and finally the Grunge flash challenge got me playing with paint etc. and this is the result!
I used Janet Scott's "A Bouquet of Freshly Sharpened Pencils" for it's grungy potential and added a pin from her "Quilted with Love".
The pins and journaling show the countries I have visited outside Great Britain, Of course I have also visited Scotland and Wales which are part of GB, Northern Ireland is not part of Great Britain so I have listed it as another country even though it is part of the United Kingdom, I know it's complicated!
I have tried to reload this layout because I made some changes to it but the new layout isn't showing all the time, the new one is the one with the red arrow it shows when you click on the layout.

Haha, I see it now!
Lilian, the pin for Holland/ The Netherlands is there right above the one for Belgium, sadly the map isn't big enough for all the countries to be named.
Haha, I meant pin, of course
There's no pun for Holland, such a shame! Nice LO and very original take on the challenge!
