About Me
I am a stay at home Mum to one little girl and a craft addict, I don't feel right if I don't get my crafting fix!I have always crafted in some form or another and tried my hand at all sort including glass painting, jewellery making, sewing, crochet, card making and scrapbooking. I discovered scrapbooking about 10 years ago and got hooked. After years of disregarding digital scrapping I had a sudden conversion in November 2013 and instantly became addicted. Now I can't believe I was so anti it before! As a full time Mum digital scrapping fits so much better into my life and budget at the moment but I will never give up all my lovely stash! I try to make digital layouts in the same style as I would paper ones and make then look as "real" as possible by only using elements which would work on a paper layout, adding shadows and using "glow" to recreate the inking I always add to my paper layouts! I look forward to exploring this new world and having fun here at PS.
At 18 months after I started on this digital adventure I am still loving it and have been accepted on to several Creative Teams, including here at PS! The next step is to try designing!

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
I made this layout for the "Be Random" layout challenge, my random item was brad 2 from Marisa's Oxford bundle. The brad contains a picture of Magdalen College in Oxford (my home town) which reminded me that my daughter and I went for a visit there last year!

Wonderful layout
Ha ha, yes I guess you could say it's "quintessentially English"! I couldn't believe Marisa had made a brad of some where I've been, in fact I actually climbed that tower and stood on it's roof once!
I love the photo and brad with the tower--so English! I hope to visit someday.
Thanks Kaleena. Using big photos is something I have been meaning to experiment with and this all just seemed to go together so perfectly!
That is really awesome that the brad goes with your photo like that! I love that you used a really big photo and that photo of your daughter is so happy.
