The Beach at Bamburgh

It's a year since this photo was taken. Last September we took advantage of the long weekend (bank holiday) to go on an impromptu camping trip. Our spot of choice: Northumberland, as usual! This year Florian was not with us for the long weekend, but I hope we get to do a repeat soon. It seems ages since our weekend to Loch Lomond where we got eaten alive by midges.

I used 'Mermaid Dreams' by Elif Sahin for this layout. Love this collection so much. The colour palette is great and it has a good variety of element choices, without being overwhelming. Clicky -> Mermaid Dreams

Used the date stamps kit by Scrumptiously from here on PS, and the font is Sears Tower. This is definitely my new favourite font!

For the photo, I warmed it up a bit with the warming filter in CS6, no other edits.

Got the idea for the composition from a dutch designer I follow on IG: Pixel Giraffe Design
