Wellfield Squirrel

Journaling: When we went to the area at the Wellfield today with the bear statue, I noticed a squirrel eating something in one of the flower beds and guessed it had stolen one of the newly planted flower bulbs. I watched him for a while and then it ran to the tree closest to where I was standing, but instead of running up the tree, it ran around the trunk of the tree so I slowly started to follow it around, and then it just stopped on the side of the tree and looked at me out of the corner of its eye. When I started talking to it and it turned and looked straight at me just like it was listening to everything I was saying. Then it ran down the tree and across the sidewalk to join a couple of other of its squirrel friends.
