About Me
Hi there! I'm a teacher. I try to find as much time as I can to edit photos and make digital scrapbook albums. I'll admit it: I'm addicted. Holidays with my husband are my favorite subjects. I also spend lots of time managing my stash of digital papers, templates, png's etc. It's turning into a hobby in itself. Does anyone else suffer from this same tic? :)
I love browsing on PixelScrapper. Especially the stories behind photos or layouts are of interest to me.

A beautiful sunrise on our way from Holland to Hong Kong as a stopover for New Zealand. It was really taken through one airplane window, but these doodle frames make it look as though it was shot through three windows.

Love the window view and the map showing your route.
Thank you Lilian, you just learned me something about ctrl +e !!
Hi Karen, I used a template consisting of three rounded rectangles with doodle frames around them. I put them on an angle, merged them together (ctrl+E on PS or PSE) and clipped my photo to them (ctrl+alt+G on PS or ctrl+G on PSE). I added Marisas dark paper with map as a background and the airplanes overlay on top. I erased all the airplanes over the white dots. Then I used a hard, round brush for our route, setting the spacing of the brush to a number that turned it from a stripe to a series of dots. Hope this makes sense to you!
Curious how you did that, I'm just new at this, really like it !
Such a fun layout. Breathtaking sunrise and vantage point. I like the modern map too.
Thanks ladies!
Great idea! I think we all have the 'wing of airplane' photo in our holiday picture pile - this is a really cool way to actually use it on a layout!
Great job. The frame and map and background. Perfect!
This looks like the title page of a vacation album!
Thanks, Kayl!
Awesome page! I really like your use of the doodle frames to appear as though it was 3 window views and what a pretty picture in the first place!
