using a pocket template to create a collague for jan-feb. just to show another way of using tools developed for pocket scrappers. filled with brush lettering instead of classic journal cards, bit tilted photographs and already you've switched the style and feel of a page to something more messy and artsy. without a single embelishment or extra paint. i left it simple like that on purpose
made with violet irisovna "pocket basics 2" kit

Thanks for sharing this!
nice
Love this!
Very neat ... and thanks for the shadow tip - I'm always fiddling around trying to figure out how to make shadows look more realistic.
This is awesome, thanks for sharing! especially love the new way of captioning!
@Paddy : thanks for the shadow tip, though I confess that I do know how to do this... I have trouble with this (though I think this only works in PS/CC and not in PSE, unless it's now available in the latest updates of the software), until I start warping the shadows.... not that's when I'm in real trouble : I never seem to come up with something that feels "real"... I guess practice makes perfect, so I'm glad I have my laptop back + am on sick leave from work = lots of shadow warping practice in my near future :D
thanks ladies!!
shadows tip: separate the shadow from your element/paper layer (on the thumbnail, right click and select "create new layer") and than twist it using the "wrap" tool
Fantastically creative, as usual ! Love your attention to simple things that make all the difference...
Paddy this is so beautiful! What a brilliant way to use the pocket titles, and I love how you captioned your photos. The whole thing is wonderful. You've been doing gorgeous shadow work lately (and always). You could give a class in shadowing technique!
I like your journal cards and simple descriptions. Really gives pocket pages a new look :-)
