About Me
thirty something years old and still don't know what i wanna be when i grow up. but i do know what i love. good food, crafting pretty things, hiking and my cat. taking pictures of it all and scrapping about it later. playing with paper, yarn and photoshop. hanging out on PS, my cyber home.

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
since hobbies don't pay my bills, i gotta get a job
and, you know, send out a couple job applications between scraps
...or do i?!
(to be continued)
perhaps the most patterned layout i've made - cause Marisa Lerins "Here&Now" paper packs are irresistible!

Absolutely love this lay out; lots to see without losing track. Hope things work out in a good way!
oh, teddy, you're so funny! cheers! ;)
Well congrats on the internship (I think?!? - I saw your other job-related layout first :P) I love the journalling on the colour swatch . . . this is one to share with your grandkids one day and they'll ask you what stamps are ;)
thanks mollie, i loved reading your comment!
tone-on-tone with good shadows is one of my favorite techniques, and i use it often (adds interest without stealing focus) :)
as for the letters, yeah, you gotta send the whole shebang (very, very rarely can you just email them) and because the country's in recesion (for like 6 years non stop...) you have to accept whatever you can get. i've been offered an internship and will be starting soon as the bureaucracy (...more like bureau-crazy) sorts out my papers. it's not super awesome, but still better then nothing :) good luck to you, too!
LOVE it! (My favourite part is how "HUNT" kind of sort of blends into the background. You kinda have to look for it. I like that; it fits well.)
So, it seems that you and I are in the same spot right now: job hunting. Hobbies SHOULD pay bills! LOL. I think you're a step ahead of me, though. ;)
Do all employers expect applications to be mailed in? Do you use resumes and cover letters, too? I'm always curious about the cultural differences between countries. I submitted my last one digitally by email... but it didn't work out. Total bummer, too, 'cause it would have been a good fit. Oh well, guess God's got other plans for me... keepin on keepin on.
I hope your job search goes well!!
