pretty much the first thing you think of when you hear "france".
but what about poland?
does anyone know anything about this magnificent country?
ashamed to admit that i don't. and i practically live in the neighborhood.
felt so overwhelmed listening to the story of this architectural masterpiece the other day that i just had to scrap it! hala ludowa in wroclaw is such a monumental and spectacular building, hosting live events for decades and in such perfect condition it just left me speachless to think i've never even heard of it until now!

Well, what I know about Poland is that my significant other and our son have a Polish family name and that my ex husband is once again going there on a business trip soon :).
Up until recently my SO wasn't really at ease with is Polish side of the family, but he's now making some research and who knows, maybe we'll travel there some time in the future. I hope we get to see this masterpiece, then, and I can now brag - thanks to you - that I know more things Polish than my SO :D
