Happy New Year in New Zealand!!!
I got up early to welcome in the 2020 New Year for New Zealand - my home country. It was 5 AM on the morning of 31 December 2019, for me in the EST time zone - and 12 AM midnight as the new decade began in New Zealand on 1 January 2020. I am posting this 4 hours after the NZ celebration - because I stayed up to watch the Sydney Australia Celebrations as well.
