New to Digital Scrapbooking, just started in 2019, want to make a record of family stories before my mother passes away. My dad died in 2016. I currently live in Canada but was born and raised in New Zealand, and emigrated to Canada upon marrying my Canadian spouse. Home Country - lets see - New Zealand or Canada? Which to choose? Most of my photos will be from NZ, but any pics of my son will be from Canada. MY IP Address will say that I am in Canada which is fine. My mother and sister are still back in NZ so I will make my home country as NZ for now. For Facebook, I dont check it every day - I am not addicted to FB, and I use a different name for privacy. My image is myself as a child - aged about 2 or 3 years old

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
This is the face of a young man who has just discovered that the Internet has gone offline. Was it off for a few minutes? A few hours? A few days. Probably not the last. I would remember if that happened. More likely it was just a few minutes.
This is the last photo of my son taken with a webcam around the time of his 20th birthday in May 2022.
This LO was done for the September Recipe Challenge. I was directly inspired by a LO done by Amarie several months ago. I was looking for a new placement of the many papers that this recipe was asking for. I did not want to place the papers along one side as I have been doing in the past, That does get boring.
So using the Heading Offsides Bundle By Jessica Dunn (The same bundle that AMarie used) I managed to find and place the following for this Recipe Challenge.
6 Papers - 3 plaid, 2 solid and 1 striped
5 elements - 3 WA, 1 paint & 1 cluster
2 ribbons - red & blue
1 animal - the Cat
1 Photo
1 Frame
The whole thing actually turned out pretty good - IMO.
