About Me
Working mom of 4 "kids" (24, 21, 18 and 11.5 yo). Started out as a paper scrapper, switched to digital in 2005 and never looked back !! Fell of the digital scrapbooking wagon during the last couple of years but 2023 is going to be the year I start scrapping again and I'm so happy that Pixel Scrapper oops, Digital Scrapbook is still around so I can share my journey back :). And who knows, maybe I'll start designing again and come back to art journaling too :).

This is stunning! Love how you blended your photo with the wood background. And the detail photos are perfect accents to the large background photo. Nicely done!
Found for the Oct 2021 GSH
Elegant!
I also really like the photo blending onto the wood paper. Very cool!
Thank you all for the enthusiastic comments, you really made my day ladies!!
Beautiful!
There's no difference between PS and PSE when it comes to blend modes, they're super fun to use. But like Paddy says, some kinds of blending are just not in your system and it takes someone else to show you that it works! Thanks for the inspiration, Phoebe. That's why I like PixelScrapper, so many talented people sharing!
France - thank you for the link - I've bookmarked that page and will give it some time later today - always on the lookout for new processes and ideas.
amazing, Sandrine! i would usually avoid blending a photo with a wood background, thinking it would look funny, but you proved me wrong - this is fantastic! like a page from a magazine!
Oooooh wonderful page! Great job!
Wow! how perfect!!!! I think it's called Hard Light. It's beautiful!!!
Jill I think you can do a lot in Elements, a fab scrapper I know uses it and does fantastic blending and masking. Google for "how to use blending modes in photoshop elements" (without the quotes).
this page looks OK: http://www.photoshopessentials.com/photo-editing/layer-blend-modes/intro/ Good luck.
Sandrine, again, gorgeous page!!! ♥
This is amazing - can you do that ort of thing in Elements?
Thank you ladies for your kind comments.
I didn't do anything else to the top photo than play with the blending modes, I believe I used harsh light (need to check that it really is called that way as my photoshop is in French).
Did you give the top photo some kind of treatment before you blended it or did you put it on screen? I love it!
This is beautiful! Everything about this layout is great! Well done. :)
oooooh! I love the fade of the picture on he wood that looks like it was painted. I just started using Photoshop. I really need to learn how to do that!
Gorgeous- love the top photo treatment.
I love this page!
