About Me
I live in a small, rural community north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my husband, David and our daughter, Keira. I discovered digital scrapbooking a few years ago, and although I don't have much time for it between work and sports, I'm totally hooked! I'm learning more and more from the DigitalScrapbook.com community and love sharing my projects and gaining inspiration from others'.

I rarely take selfies, and I'm usually the one behind the camera, but once in awhile I figure I should document the aging process! lol
I used Billie's gorgeous Steampunk collection. I'm fairly set in my scrapbook ways and this collection is a little out of my wheelhouse, but it was so compelling I had to give it a try.
I really like how she blended strong, empowering elements with softer ones. I tried to mimic that blend in my layout. Of course I had to get one of the awesome vintage cameras in there since I spend so much time behind the lens.

Love your layout! You'd never know you stretched outside your normal comfort zone with such stunning results. I hope I can do the same with the kit.
Thank you ladies!
Wonderfully you have succeeded Shannon. I also like Billie's steampunk kit. I also realized my "aging process" early on in my real paper album. All my retired passport photos I've stuck in the two covers at the beginning and end of the album over the years. I find that really remarkable that you write this here publicly. I find it much more relaxed and in the result also positive, if woman does not try to cover up the aging cramped. There is also a beauty in old age, but it lies more in the charisma than in the absence of wrinkles. Cramping in the mind, promotes wrinkles I have observed as a nurse over the decades. The eyes as a mirror of the soul (inner attitude) let young / alive act.
Very nice LO!
LOVE this Shannon, sometimes it's nice to document ourselves.
Nicely put together, tells a great story!
