Venice (1-2)

Description

May 5, 2014 - Our final port is Venice. We near Venice about noon and sail slowly past outer islands, including one with a beach, up the Canale di San Marco to the Canale Della Giudecca into the city. We feel like royalty as we pass the splendid buildings, canals, bridges, boats, and Piazza San Marco to reach the ship terminal on the west side of the city. There is water everywhere! Along the way, we pass our hotel, the Hilton Molina Stucky, with its green tower.
