About Me
I am a full time working wife and mother of three sons. I love all manner of crafting; From digital scrap-booking to tangible mixed media projects. I love to learn from other people and get exposed to the huge world of art.
Creativity is in my blood. I have always sketched pictures since I was a kid, and now with social media (Thanks YouTube, Pinterest, Google images, and PIXELSCRAPPER, etc....) I have become so overwhelmed with what project(s) to do for the day. I don't even know where to start. Should I make cards or make my own clay? Or should I design a wall hanging for the living room. I have become ridiculously indecisive with what I want to make.
When I stumbled accross Pixelscrapper I was elated that you could get so many kits and bundles to make what ever you had in mind...and more!
Now I can go to the next level of design by doing it digitally.
Type of Project
Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
This is a scrapbook page I made from one of my drawings that I scanned and masked in Photoshop. I used the quick selection tool on the girl and on her hair, face, and outfit. I then used color overlay for each of the layers and finished them using the burn tool to create a darkened, shadow effect on her.
I added a combination of elements from Pixelscrapper and they are as follow:
Jane_Elements by Collaborations graphics kit_(Open Vintage Book, Key 3, Vintage Butterfly Sticker, Pen and Quill, Library card, and bookmark), (Frames_Stacked Torn paper and lace):https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/melo-vrijhof/kits/jane-collab-bundle-eyre-literature-read-books-green-light-pink-gray-tan
Spookalicious - Element templates-Doily: https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/sheila-reid/kits/spookalicious-element-templates-kit-halloween-fall-october-31-buttons-string-bows
This was a fun project.

Thanks Varia and Jessica! I really appreciate that!
Really beautiful page!!!
Love your sketch! I also love how you framed her and repeated the sketch as part of the background! Gives it an "emerging" feeling. Great job Sonya! :)
