About Me
My favorite hobbies are scrapbooking, genealogy, and needle crafts. I do LOTS of scrapbook genealogy.
I started paper scrapbooking in 1999, have done digital scrapbooking for 20 years and more, well over a thousand pages, and digital graphics several years before that. But I don't want to be a designer.
Currently, I work at a university and love it. The students and the serene atmosphere on our beautiful campus are the best!

This is a tribute to my father. I am fortunate to still have him with me - he's 82 and I can't keep up with him! - and want him to know how proud I am of this man I call Daddy. He does not have a college degree but is a brilliant mathematician and engineer. Not only did he work on the space program from Mercury through Skylab, but he was then transferred to the group that developed the IBM PC and changed the world forever. He was at the Cape or the Houston Space Flight Center for every launch and because of his work my eyes have always looked out and up and my imagination has soared among the stars. He taught me I could do anything if I wanted it bad enough and worked for it. I love you, Daddy!
My family, including my paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, and my aunt, Judy, who is only 18 months older and is more like a cousin, spent IBM day at the US Space and Rocket Center not long after it was built to commemorate the successful Apollo 11 mission - man's first steps on the moon. The patches commemorate the various programs my father worked on until I was in my mid-20s when he transferred to the PC group.
