About Me
I discovered digital scrapbooking through a magazine at my dentist's office when my girls were toddlers. I downloaded GIMP shortly thereafter, and the rest is history. My teenagers aren't nearly as cute to scrap now as they were then - but I still love documenting who we are as a family. And hey, occasionally now my layouts don't even include my kids :P
I sometimes even get to use the skills I learned digital scrapbooking for my work (I do communications for a nonprofit ministry that provides educational opportunities for kids in Guatemala)
Besides digital scrapbooking, I enjoy geocaching, hiking, x-country skiing, hanging around with international students, reading, stewarding a little free library, and cheering on my family at their many races . . .
Oh, and I'm Canadian, eh? We put two Ls in journalling and a U in colour on purpose :)

Journalling:
Your normal year ended abruptly. When school let out for spring break, you were still hoping to travel to Ottawa with Dad. That, of course, never happened. That weekend, the world seemed to shut down, your trip was cancelled, and your classes never resumed. Instead of enjoying your final months of high school, you finished your semester from your bedroom. Instead of a prom and dry grad with friends, you had a covid-friendly grad ceremony with immediate family only. And instead of looking forward to university, you still don't know what your September will look like. But we know that you'll make it through this too. And we know, even through this, that it's God who holds your future.

Thank you both! Yeah, Linda, I'm sure she & her fellow Gen Zs will do absolutely fine :)
Really like this simple layout - the contrast in colors is bold and really makes it stand out.
So sorry for all of the grads at this time but this is Gen Z and my kids keep telling me they're powerful, so watch out.
This is gorgeous!
