About Me
My experience in the digital graphics industry began a few years ago (2007 or so – does that count?), when I purchased a DSLR camera (Nikon D70s), mostly to capture my growing family and children as they participated in sports. I found myself tweaking the photos and loving it! Then I discovered digital scrapbooking (where I was previously using paper), which progressed into digital design when I couldn't find items I wanted! I really enjoy learning new techniques and designing definitely keeps me on my toes!
IRL (in real life), I provide IT support. I have previously been an instructor and trainer as well. I do love computers and most things technical and am always up for a good, technical challenge!
I have been married to my loving husband for 10 years and we have 3 children – ages 10, 17 and 19. Our family has one cat (Kitty), one dog (Hank) and one rabbit (Reese).

On Saturday, May 24th, 2014, we ran to Russell Feed Supply in Benbrook, Texas, as we usually do. Chester needed some custom made bird feed. So, while he was doing that, Paxtyn and mom went to look at the animals there. They keep mice, rats, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, rabbits and sometimes ducklings and baby chickens.
Well, mom never saw herself as a rabbit person, but there was one particular bunny just calling to her...the cutest little two-tone tan and brown seal point dwarf she'd ever seen! Rather than just get it and go, she went home to think about it.
Later that day, she decided to go get the rabbit. So she and Paxtyn returned to the store, only to discover it was gone! They decided to try the other location, on Camp Bowie Boulevard.
Luck! While it wasn't the same bunny, it was almost identical, except this one had some lionhead in her and was a little long hair versus the first one who was short hair. She was so soft and sweet! So, our family became the proud new owners of a Netherland lionhead dwarf 10-week old female rabbit.
She was named Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, because Paxtyn and mom both thought she had the same coloring as the candy. We call her Reese or Ombre for short! We think her birthday is March 15th, 2014.
