About Me
I came to digital scrapbooking by way of Project Life, which I did in physical form for the first year and then tried out doing digitally, and became hooked for life on digital documenting. I made my first designs to share as contributions for DigitalScrapbook.com blog trains, and am thrilled to now be part of the DigitalScrapbook.com design team! I create products for digital pocket scrapbooking and traditional scrapbooking, and want to support people however I can in creatively and easefully documenting their lives.
You can follow along with my Project Life adventures (and find past blog train goodies and other freebies) at my blog, Scrumptiously: http://eversoscrumptiously.wordpress.com/

Description
A key part of the Documentarian collection is a series of pocket scrapping templates inspired by my favorite Project Life and pocket scrappers. Though the pocket scrapping form may appear to be somewhat regimented, there is in fact a wide variety of creative and playful ways to work with those little 4x6 and 3x4 pockets.
The Kimberly is the first template in this series, inspired by one of my favorite pocket scrappers of all time, Kimberly Kalil. Some hallmarks of Kimberly's style are using a patterned or interestingly textured paper as a background behind the pocket spaces (rather than just a plain color or solid paper) and putting a "stroke" style around each pocket, in a color or variety of colors that coordinate with the layout. I feel she strikes an ideal balance with her use of layering, ornamentation, and font variety, making her pages "interestingly busy" rather than "overwhelmingly chaotic."
Try out the Kimberly template for yourself (the template includes some instructions for how to adjust the stroke color and other tips) and see what happens when you add your own style to the mix!
You may enjoy that Documentarian templates are deliberately arranged with more intuitive layer ordering than most similar templates - I find them much more usable than typical pocket scrapping templates which often have the pockets in no particular order in the layers palette. This template pack includes two pocket scrapping templates in both layered TIF and PSD formats. I suggest using the layered TIFs if your program supports them because the file size is smaller; either way you can delete whichever version you won't be using. Save that hard drive space!
