I'm a 40-something woman with way too much time on my hands! I'm an avid camper, kayaker, animal lover, amputee, and very proud Aunt to 2 newly adopted, amazing kids (which is good, as they make up most of my scrapbooking!). I live with my 2 dogs Cody & Kaylynn, cat Akasha, conure Sprite (the fairy, not the soft drink...) and fish who are, sadly, unnamed.

I made this page for a friend of mine. She was very excited at *finally* being able to bring her new puppy home (across 6 states!), -and we have this yearly event at a local battered women's shelter, -so what better way to show off your new puppy than to include him in your pirate-motife decorations? She even turned his crate into a 'brig', which fit perfectly in her theme. Sunny is a very friendly and playful little guy - don't you just love how puppies play for maybe 5 minutes and then take an hour nap to recover? Now I want a puppy...
Who am I kidding - I pretty much want a puppy all the time!
