These portraits kind of remind me of an inkplot. Very creative piece.
Thank you everybody! You can acheve the same result in photoshop this way:
1) With your photo layer selected, go to image -- adjustments. -- treshhold.
2) play around with the lever untill you are satisfied.
3) Your photo is now completely back and white. Turn it into a brush
4) erase the photo layer
5) chose yournew photo brush, choose the color you want it to be and stamp it in a new layer
VoilĂ ! There iou have it!
Now all you need is to use a mask to keep only what you want to see. Or erase what you don't want with a grunge brush, well... Your choice!
