About Me
Mum to a young adult, a teenager, a black lab & 5 siameses... Love reading, music, cooking, traveling, the outdoors, landscape photography & my hubby of 23 years.
I ventured into digiscrapping at the recommendation of a friend overseas a few years ago. I had always thought about [paper] scrapbooking, but lack of storage space kept me from doing it. Needless to say, digiscrapping was the perfect solution for me. I purchased a copy of Paint Shop Pro & began looking for a friendly digiscrap community to participate in. DigitalScrapbook.com has been a good fit - the girls are helpful, supportive, kind & generous with one another, which I truly appreciate...

We traveled down to PA this past June to visit with family & bring home our [new] vintage camper... It was a nice, but long trip. I'm glad we split it up over 2 days (I have a bad back). We stopped at Hogback Mountain on the way down. It was one of the few times on the drive down (and back) that I could take pictures as it wasn't raining (most of the trip it rained). Thankfully our time in the Lancaster area was completely sunny. Had hoped to take pictures of Amish country, but I often forgot to take out my camera as I was enjoying playing tourist... Hopefully we will go again & this time I'll take pictures. ;p
I re-worked this l/o from a iDSD challenge I participated in over @ Scraporchard. The original l/o didn't turn out like I wanted it to mainly because I was restricted to using Scraporchard products... I didn't have what I wanted/needed to make the l/o look attractive to me, which is why I re-worked it after the challenge. Subtle changes, but it made the difference for me. Anyhow....I primarily used "Oh Snap!" products (from SO's iDSD hop), and a wood paper from FarFarHill's old wood textures kit. Let me know what you think. This is what they call "project life" style, no? It's the first time I've scrapped that way & I think I like it...
