About Me
New to Digital Scrapbooking, just started in 2019, want to make a record of family stories before my mother passes away. My dad died in 2016. I currently live in Canada but was born and raised in New Zealand, and emigrated to Canada upon marrying my Canadian spouse. Home Country - lets see - New Zealand or Canada? Which to choose? Most of my photos will be from NZ, but any pics of my son will be from Canada. MY IP Address will say that I am in Canada which is fine. My mother and sister are still back in NZ so I will make my home country as NZ for now. For Facebook, I dont check it every day - I am not addicted to FB, and I use a different name for privacy. My image is myself as a child - aged about 2 or 3 years old

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
During this crisis in 2020, we have been exhorted to stay home as much as possible. Mostly to prevent the spread of the virus.
Fortunately my family and I have always been happy to stay home so we are coping remarkably well during this crisis. My son spends his time playing games online and my spouse watches videos and movies.
I love Genealogy. And I can easily spend hours looking through records online, just to find that one little bit of evidence to prove the existence of one person. So that is what I spend most of my time doing. When I am not making layouts for PS, that is!!
The phrase Don't Worry. Be Happy. Has now become... Stay Home. Stay Positive.

Wonderful Photo and Layout Robynne.
I once found among the photos of my paternal grandmother a handwritten note with our ancestors about this grandfather. I copied it and gave it to all my siblings. Unfortunately, we do not have much from my mother's side. Mother had a wicked stepmother, so she had no contact with her family after she left home, except with her biological siblings from father's 1st marriage. Only a half-brother was still in contact with my mother, but we were too young and busy with other things to ask about family history. Today I would love to do that. But mother has entrusted me enough things from the war time with this stepmother which were painful, therefore I did not want to wake her as an adult with questions everything again emotionally in her.
So pretty, Robynne!
wonderful!!!!
