About Me
My name is Jessica but you can call me Jessi or Jess if you prefer!
Wife. Mother. Designer. Keeper of chickens, turkeys & an old house. A few favorite things : Autumn. Winter. Coffee. Old Books & Photos. Fireplaces. Cotton & Linen. Antiques. Ribbons. Nature.
'The Curio Pantry' is what I design under. If you are not familiar with my designs they are a bit eclectic, mostly elegant & vintage inspired designs with a little cuteness here and there. I dabble with hand drawing so at times you may see some of that worked into kits.

Digital Scrapbook LayoutDescription
One of my favorite pastimes is to colorize old photos, esp daguerreotypes. An idea popped into my head today to try using the Greater than Gatsby's actions to help colorize an old photo. This colorization took only about 20 minutes. I love the rich coloring & glow this took on. I didn't spend a lot of time with details which is why her lace isn't white but I just wanted to see what I could do with Gatsby's actions with regard to colorizing old photos, since they are not actually meant for that capacity. I used mostly the portrait retouch & painterly actions - which helped give it that painting like effect.
