Dec 2016 Blog Train - Comments

Please use this thread for any comments, questions, thanks, etc you have for our designers participating in the blog train. To see the blog train list, visit this post.

Please remember that the blog train does not go live until December 1, so the actual freebie on the blog may not yet be posted.

Beautiful kits! Thank you!

Oh my goodness, I ADORE this color palate and already had to sneak at the current kits already in the line-up;)!

Sorry it's taken me so long to post all my links -- but they're finally all done, and all links are active right now, for anyone who wants to make a start on downloading. Some of my paper kits are over 100 MB, so if that's too big, just email me at [email protected], and I can either split the kits, or email the zip file directly to you, whichever is easiest for you.

Enjoy!

Fantastic kits ladies, and some very inspiring and awesome talent!

@Janet Scott, I love the way you've just focused on the brownish tones/neutrals in your kit -- love the creamy lace, especially.

Lovely work everyone! @Sunny Rush, thanks so much for your generous TOU, and I can't believe somebody complained they got too many papers...there is never too much, lol

Looks like a wonderful month!!

Thanks everyone for all the lovely kits

I love your part Janet! Good work ladies! And I fixed my link. My post got renamed so the link wasn't working but I fixed it now.

Love this Blog Train, SO much inspiration so much creativity, so many different perspectives. Well done!

Beautiful work, everyone! Kayl and Janet, my favorites so far!

Amazing work all around! It's been a lot of fun participating and it feels wonderful to be surrounded by so much creativity and talent. If you have some advice for improvement, please be so kind and tell me? This has been been the first time I did anything like that.

Cindy, I think you did great!! I love your contribution!

Thank you, Rene, that's very kind of you to say! I adore your style, by the way. Lovely designs and so cohesive, just wonderful to look at.

What a lovely Blog Train! A great big thank you to all the talented and mighty generous contributors!

Thank you to all the generous designers for their beautiful parts of this train.
I just wanted to tell you that the pieces from Maybury Designs are so beautiful that they are causing too much traffic in Dropbox and they are not working at all. Maybe they should be hosted somewhere else... smiley

I will return in a few days...

Thanks again!!

Thank you for pointing that out, Sophie! I'll look into an alternative to Dropbox right away. And thank you for your kind words about my contribution. I've been terribly nervous about offering it up and am relieved and very glad that people seem to like it. Sorry about the blocked links, though!

I want to thank you all for the wonderful graphics and I wish you a very Happy Holidays! smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley

Hi, all!

I just wanted to let you know that Dropbox have suspended my blog train links due to excessive traffic, so please use either the Google Drive or Jumpshare links. Don't forget that, even if you don't manage to download everything by December 31, everything will be available indefinitely on My Freebie Thread

Also, the Google Drive link for PK09 Textured Gradients 01 is now fixed, so thank you for letting me know!

Regards,
Robyn

It's really eye-opening to hear comments regarding the limitations of Dropbox downloads. I had no idea. I too use Dropbox as my sole download site. Please let me know if you experience any issues with my downloads. I do have a business account which allows for bigger file storage, but I don't know if it provides for more downloading traffic.

smiley smiley smiley GREAT TRAIN FOR THE HOLIDAYThanks to all the contributing designers. Loved the colours

Sunny, If you have a paid account, I don't think they limit the downloads.

Sunny & Erin, I have a paid Dropbox account, but my downloads were suspended for 24 hours for this train. Admittedly, some of my paper kits were huge, so that may have contributed to it!

However, I also provide links to two other sites (Google Drive & Jumpshare), so that if ever my Dropbox is suspended, people still have a way to download. (I have a paid account at the two alternate sites, as well.)

Everyone did wonderful work. I am amazed who great these designers are and wish that I was as talented as they are. I'm like how'd you come up with this stuff?? It's great!

This is straight from the customer help team at Dropbox:

"In order to prevent abuse, Basic accounts are limited to 20 GB of bandwidth and 100,000 downloads per day, while Pro and Business accounts have a much higher limit of 200 GB per day and unlimited downloads."

This is how much it costs for my storage, and what I get for my money (in US dollars):

Dropbox Pro | 1 TB Storage | $11 (USD) per month

Google Drive | 1 TB Storage | $10 (USD) per month

Jumpshare | 1 TB Storage | $10 (USD) per month

All are easy to use, and nice clean download pages -- NO ANNOYING ADS!!

Wow, what a big & fantastic train this was!

I just wanted to thank everyone for being such a supportive, sharing and caring community.

Sunny, I couldn't agree more!

a wonderful blogtrain....a lot of different designs offers so much possibilities, thank you very much to all designers smiley smiley
