Bina, I just read your profile and chuckled a little that you compared yourself to Brick Heck. I love that show!! I'm probably more like Sue than I care to admit.

smiley Haha, Gina! Defs Brick as in easily distracted and extremely forgetful..... me smiley

I miss The Middle. smiley

I think it streams on Netflix --- withdrawl gets too bad I hit play... but you are not a directioner, Gina, now are you.... thinking of Sue here. smiley smiley

Great turkey Tricia.

I looked at your profile and noticed that Ptktj is actually the first initials of your family. I smiley that. Many years ago, I designed under the name KiKeKa Kits (crafted by Gina) for my daughters - Kim, Kelly, and Karla. I've also used the name KiKeKa for non-crafting projects too.

Thanks Gina. It makes my login easy to remember, but now it is a bitter-sweet reminder that Travis is gone & we are only Paul, Tricia ,Kevin & Jared smiley
Travis passed away March 1st, just before he turned 19 from heart failure as a result of genetic cardiomyopathy.

That's so sad. smiley

(((hugs)))

Oh, Tricia, I can't imagine the loss of one of your children. I was just talking with my husband a couple of days ago, thinking about a friend of ours who also lost their teenaged child recently, and I told him that I just can't imagine (and I hope I never experience) the pain of that-----we're not supposed to out-live our children, you know? Anyway, my heart goes out to you. smiley

Thank you @Lisel & @Gina.
It is difficult & 2020 has made it harder with COVID & big fires here in AZ. Moving on is weird after the last several years were entirely focused on Travis's health. I basically lived at the hospital with him for many months and before/after was a taxi driver for doctor & lab appointments. I am thankful to now have time for my other boys (including my husband!!) and due to COVID I see more of them than I would have...so overall bitter-sweet and mixed blessings all around this super stressful 2020.
Normally we could get out of the 100+degree heat by visiting the nearby mountain...but everything is closed due to the fire. smiley Thankfully monsoons finally arrived last night and today is beautiful...so glad to be able to be outdoors again.

Wow. SO much going on in your life. I'm thankful the rains came to help with the fires!

Me too. The one closest to us is now completely out. Hooray!
