Declare A Color should be done monthly. It seems to be one of the more popular prompts. Plus it's fun finding kits, even if they're old, that match the color you're supposed to use.

I really love this, Christina! And especially the twist of using a DS kit for that challenge.

I've found many older, great kits on here while doing the color challenge. Plus, it's easy to filter the specific color (or at least a shade of it), so you only see exactly what you're looking for.

Absolutely! I usually am still surprised what I find here once I start a lookin'.

I think that's the best part: Finding something new that you otherwise wouldn't have come across.

Hi all,

I'm also always looking for new challenge and layout ideas for Scraps. Somehow I'm looking for the ultimate scrap. But with the diversity of creativity, life themes, shapes and colors, this is probably a utopia. I have translated and read all 6 pages here, line by line and link by link.

Most of the last few years since the suggestions were written have been redeemed in the layout challenges.
My favorite challenges are Scripture, GSH, Color Call, Word Prompt and the newer ones from Bina = Tech + Alpha (I love fonts) and Jennifer's = Surprise Challenge, which contains image challenges, not just clever placement of photos, papers and elements on one Square.

With the new AI technology, there could also be new challenges for people who don't like showing private photos in public forums.
You could also do a challenge with free, no cost (public domain, CC) favorite photos of topics that you particularly like, such as my recent scrap about (Japanese) art or a short portrait of an artist (including handicrafts) that you like and why.

In any case, the layout challenges are a source of inspiration and the joy of design for me. Many thanks to everyone involved, including those who made the technical requirements possible. smiley smiley smiley smiley
