What did you get?

Did you get anything new these days? Like a new scrapbook kit or kitchen robot? I got this beauty .

I have not gotten a new thing lately, but I did learn to make pudding and in the process realized that pudding is delicious. I saw a picture of a "dirt cup" on the internet and thought I needed to make one for Magnus. But the don't sell instant pudding in Mexico, so then I had to Google how to make it and it turns out everyone in my house is big fans of pudding.

smiley is it corn starch you are using? The dirt cups look like the workout to turn the Magimix into a Magimex.

Yes, there is cornstarch in the pudding.

@Bina: You're not one of those people who calls dessert pudding are you? smiley And if so, what do you call a chocolate pudding?

I've been doing a prosthetic foot study, yesterday the manufacturer rep took the test foot back and put my old one back on, now I have to wear my old one and give feedback for 8 weeks. I'm hoping at the end of this study I can get a better foot because the one my insurance originally approved of is not for someone that gets around as well as I do hiking in the park and such.

I feel like my answer is lame.. I bought a rubber mat liner for the trunk of my Jeep lol. Exciting stuff around here.

I got another part of my spine fused...SI Joint Surgery (sacroiliac joint). Does that count? LOL. smiley

I just got an online subscription of science lessons that are completely based on experiments (my girls are finishing up a week of free lessons during Spring break and we got completely hooked).

@Emily, I feel your pain! My sister is going through a similar situation and she said it's terribly miserable. Hoping your spinal fusion helps!

We bought a new refrigerator because our old one died on us. smiley And a water filter pitcher, because the new one doesn't have a dispenser.

I am the proud owner of a new Mac mini with the silicone chip smiley

smiley smiley Susan. Just a tiny bit envious here. smiley

Now that I have access to dirtcups, I guess so. And that would be lucky. Thanks for the link. smiley

Today I bought a slow cooker/pressure cooker thing - because my other two slow cookers died and it is winter here.. and I am not sure what I have gotten myself into!!!!!!

Just over a week ago, I got a new coffee table and end tables.

a robovac to help me as I have a bad back

An InstantPot, Jo, or something like that? I thought mine looked like an airplane control panel when I first got it. It was VERY intimidating. I still think I've only ever used it once. My daughter uses it. lol

I just bought way too many dies (for die cutting). 'Cause spring clearance sales. smiley I'm hoping my 10yo will want to make cards with me and they won't be only a selfish purchase. (She likes to construct things out of cardboard, make pop-up cards, etc. And overall we don't have a lot in common; she and I are pretty opposite, so I'm hoping this will be something we can enjoy together.)

Yeah it is! So it does look like a control panel hahaha.... absolutely!! I have tried my first slow cooker meal in it tonight, lamb casserole. Not very exciting, but figured I couldn't stuff it up too much!! I am intrigued to make some other things in it, I like the idea of the pressure cooking bits - but I need to read the instruction book a bit more.. looks like the time you cook is important with that!

I think buying the dies for craft with your daughter is an excellent idea. I love it! My 8 year olds both want to craft with me, which sometimes drives me crazy because I just want 5 mins to myself! LOL.

hahaha I know that feeling. My kids don't mess with my scrapbooking/scrapbooks, so that's still "my" thing.

Mine mean well, but of course are just really attracted to all the physical stuff. I did recently buy some Vicki Boutin 12" pages which you colour in yourself to then use as as your page... they're very cool. My idea is for my girls to colour one in each and then I'll do a feature physical scrapbooked page... but do you think I can work out where I put them? haha!

Oh, that sounds really cool! (I hear you on not knowing where they are, though! lol)

I got a Respawn computer gaming chair that also reclines...

That sounds interesting Jackie!! I bet it is comfortable.

I got a new dresser of darker wood, which I love.

Just upgraded my Corel Paint Shop Pro to the latest version. I've been away from scrapbooking so long, I never bothered to keep it updated for the last few years.

I used to use that back when I was in highschool.. haven't used it since - is it good?

I love it. I've been using the program for about 20 years. I didn't start out with scrapbooking, more like tags, desktop backgrounds, and forum avis and signatures. I try to use PhotoShop when I'm at my son's, and I'm completely lost.

It's so funny what you get used too isn't it! I'm used to photoshop ha!

Yes, it is! Part of me wants to make the plunge into Photoshop, but the other part says, "stick with what you know."

Whatever gets the job done I think!

I agree! It'd take forever to learn a new program. Plus, it costs a lot more than PSP, so then there's that. lol

Christina, you could always do the monthly payment for Photoshop I think it's only like $9.99 a month or something like that and it also includes Lightroom or it did..
