Thanks. I am. Learning Adobe Illustrator as well as I go along.

smiley smiley smiley CONGRATULATIONS
on your
BLACKOUT
BINGO!

You are all kinds of AMAZING, Tricia! smiley smiley smiley

Helloooo to all! smiley Designing like mad smiley I think,...at least I was...since last night! smiley Couldn't sleep, so continued...I tell you, Annette I LEARNT a few things, for which I'll be forever thankful to you, sweet mentor!!! smiley

I decided to take up your dare smiley & go for Blackout & it took me all this time to finish it! smiley In doing this, it was a first time for some things for me...so happy!!

My firsts: mask, buttons, & misty papers. Thank you Annette, for this! smiley

I used Jessica's flowers and leaves & Janet Kemp's curved border for embossing & the deep magenta journal card shape is Marisa's.

And...like sweetly instructed smiley , didn't use any previous contributions from the Scraptorial!! smiley smiley smiley

*edit: cluster with 5 items...

Congratulations Tricia and Chitra for completing the BINGO card! Well done! (applause!)

I made a ladybug for the glitter entry and saved it as a multi-layer template. If anyone wants it, I just posted it to my freebie thread.

Bina, I'm loving that slide frame!

Anette, I just love that photo mask of yours, it's so sweet and WINTERY!

Gail, oh my gosh!
You have just taken off with these challenges (Yay, Annette, for having them!) and you've made some AWESOME stuff for your kit!
I'm very, very impressed!

Thank you Christina! See you there soon also!

AHEM!!! Ms. Tricia, you over-achiever you, holy smokes!

You went to TOWN on these things!

Oh, I'm so excited to download your kits, seriously, I'm in love with them both.
You are amazing.

Goodness, Chitra!
Your stuff is so cute!
And that mask is beautiful, the flourish is exquisite, the alpha is so up my alley, and....and....and.....
you've been busy just like Tricia!
Great job, lady!

Robyn, those corners are so pretty! LOVE those blingy ones!

Christina, what awesome frames, and that little banner is so sweet!

I'm itching to do the bingo card challenge, but I may have to wait until the weekend.
I started back to work this Monday, and just don't have the energy to create in the evenings.
Working in a classroom with special needs students from kindergarten to 5th grade is physically exhausting, but emotionally and mentally rewarding above all.
Just doesn't leave much mental power at the end of the day, I'm pretty much MUSH, LOL!
But I love to be able to come here and read all the comments, and see all the BEAUTIFUL accomplishments you've made, all the new skills you've learned, and challenged yourself with Annette's prompts, etc.
It's so comforting and gives me all the warm fuzzy feels!

Thanks Lisel

Christina, that Glitter ladybug is adorable! I also really like the flags and the hummingbird. So excited to see that you shared the layered ladybug!

You're welcome, Chitra! It's a lot of work doing the full card, but it'll be worth it the end! Yours came out terrific. Lots of cute elements!

Thank you very much, Lisel! Frames are fun to make, playing with bevel settings and different shapes.

That's why I was gone for almost a year. Watching my granddaughter all day is exhausting. I forgot are "wild" and energetic two-year-olds can be! lol By the time I got home after driving an hour, all I wanted to do was eat dinner, then lay down on the couch and watch TV. I can't imagine working with an entire classroom of kids. I definitely couldn't function. More power to you, and especially working with special needs children! smiley

Tricia, thank you so much! I'm glad you like it! The hummingbird is a template I made several years ago. I'll probably put that in my freebie thread, too, eventually. I have a ton of templates. Back before extraction was a thing, I also used to create PSP scripts (counterpart to PS actions) for butterflies, flowers, bows, ribbons, ricrac, and everything else.

Love all the items posted here. I am learning by looking and seeing. Beautiful stuff ladies.

That is great. You are making me want to upgrade from PSE...so much I can not do!

Gail: That is exactly how I learned to create stuff. I would study, for example, a bow someone else made digitally and try to figure out how I would get the same effect in Paintshop Pro. I taught myself to use the push tool, along with burn and dodge to get a 3D-looking effect without using bevel.

Tricia: I've been using PSP for decades. I only started learning Photoshop last year. I'm paying $10/month for it. It's definitely worth it in my opinion. I constantly go back-and-forth between the programs, mainly because I don't know PS all that well and I can get things done faster in PSP rather than drowning in trial and error in PS.

WhooHoo!! Great Blackout Bingo Annette! I smiley smiley smiley the stockings, the glowing lights, the poinsettia (on the frame?), Christmas tree with pearl garland, marbled Joy word art, ... pretty much everything smiley Beautiful designs!!

@ Robyn, The lighted alpha is great!!

Annette, each item is really pretty! And what makes them great is how crisp the images look! As always, your work is awesome! smiley smiley smiley

Love your kit.

Gail! That is such good news! YAY! I think you will enjoy being able to share your wonderful creations in the Commons. If there is anything I can help you with, please let me know. I am so excited you will be joining us there! smiley

You've been busy while I was away working on my BINGO stuff and Scraptorials for next week . . . and I am so happy you want to complete your card! You GO, girl! smiley The gears and spirograph designs turned out really neat. Are they done in Illustrator? I saw you said you were learning it, too. Those are awesome additions for your kit, as are those photo corners. I really like the shape you came up with for the corners. I've seen a lot of photo corners, but I don't recall ever seeing that particular shape before and it is so cool. Love that you clipped some of your papers to them to make them matchy-matchy. That will make for some really fun coordinated pages. You've made some really wonderful things, Gail! I'm clapping here in my computer chair! smiley

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Tricia . . .

. . . so much to love!

Your first photo mask! Good job--looks very fun. Matchy-matchy journal cards--those will coordinate so well with all the other papers and elements you've made for this kit! Text on a path--you made me laugh out loud. That is a hoot! Your cluster looks great despite you not being into making them! I'm glad you gave it a whirl and made one even though it isn't your thing. smiley Your quick page is ADORABLE! Really shows off how well all your creations for this kit coordinate and complement each other! CONGRATS again on your BLACKOUT! Excellent work and what a fantastic kit this is gonna be!

And like the Energizer bunny, Tricia just kept going with the HO HO HOly Night Palette! smiley CONGRATS on the almost-BLACKOUT there! smiley You know I am seriously digging the collection of brads, right? I mean, the angels are so cute, and then you went and made STRIPY SOCK BRADS and my heart got all warm and fuzzy with happiness. Adorbs! I like the images combined with the misty/glittery paper technique. It is an inherently "messy" method, but once you put some pictures and elements on it, the "messiness" goes away and it just makes a really cool backdrop for the showcased goodies. I LIKE IT! A marbled frame AND a marbled bow! What a cool way to show that pattern off! And I think you are right about the glowing lights. Definitely needed some of those! So cute! Like glitter, I just don't think you can go wrong adding "glowing lights." smiley Beautiful photo corners! I love the holly berries you've chosen to decorate them with and that you made them with your neutral textured paper. They will go with every Christmas picture a scrapper might want to accent with corners. Lovely paint element. It really does look like you got out some paint and brushes to put that together. Love the effect! Another super set of coordinated journal cards for this kit as well. Nice variety and I adore the camera tag. CHRISTMAS LIGHT BUTTONS--what a fun idea and executed so well. Love that you strung them and made a swag out of them. The watercolor poinsettias and paper collection made me gasp with delight the first time I scrolled down and laid eyes on them! Just so, so beautiful, Tricia! Those papers ROCK MY WORLD! So soft, so deliciously splattery and YUM! And I thought to myself "Well, it can't get any better than that!" and then I saw your swirly and your neon tree! I love them, too! Like really really really love them! smiley

You have outdone yourself, and that is saying a LOT! I can't properly articulate how impressed I am with EVERYTHING you made for this round of BINGO. (And it is only Saturday . . . you might not quite be done, am I right?) smiley Thanks so much for playing BINGO with me and sharing all your wonderful creations with us. It is really inspiring to me when I see how much an organized, disciplined person can get done when they set their mind to it. I shall endeavor to be more like you, my friend!

Hi Annette. Just waiting for the response on my application. Thanks
