A Happy Challenge
I started to see this hashtag pop up on Instagram yesterday, so I did a little searching to figure out what it was. It sounded like it would be wonderful, and I think it is!
The hashtag originates with this challenge to document for 100 days something that makes you happy. As scrapbookers we're already committed to capturing and saving daily moments, but I know for me it's sometimes tricky to figure out what to capture in the day to day when things seem so mundane and the same! A little outside encouragement and challenge is always appreciated and I'm looking forward to joining this internet sensation.
I'll be sharing my photos on instagram, and I'd love to follow along with you! So leave a comment below if I can find you on Instagram too.

About Me
Hi There! I’m Marisa Lerin and you’ll see me around at DigitalScrapbook.com a lot. I started this site in 2010 soon after I discovered a new love in digital scrapbooking. DigitalScrapbook.com has gone through some significant changes since that time and it’s grown into this lovely community site you are seeing now. I am daily surprised by the turn of life’s events that has led me down this path. If you're new to the site, welcome! Here are a few tidbits about me that I hope will help you get to know me better!
I’m originally from Minnesota, USA, but spent a good chunk of my childhood living abroad (in Bolivia and Hong Kong). I returned to Minnesota to attend university, got married and then moved overseas again (Korea, then Jordan and 1 year of traveling). My designs are heavily influenced by these many nomadic years. I am currently back in the USA, now living in the great state of Oregon!
I have no official training for what I’m doing, since I decided very wisely (haha) to study physics in university. I am always learning new things about digital scrapbooking, and this community has been immensely helpful for that!
If I manage to stop digital scrapbooking you will probably find me watching TV, reading or baking. I also enjoy writing for the blog here at DigitalScrapbook.com where I talk about whatever happens to be catching my fancy at the moment.

I started following you in this challenge yesterday and I really love to now notice and appreciate the ordinary things in life that make me happy more. This challenge is such a fun idea! I just hope I won't forget to take a photo every single day for the next 100 days. :p
I started a "good things" journal this year, where I force myself to find and write down 3 good things that happen each day,. this challenge sounds similar. :D
I keep telling myself I'm going to join the #100 days challenge but still haven't taken that first picture. I do think it'll be a great book idea.
I've seen this before and I have it on my bucket list. I don't use instagram but I still want to do this just for myself. Recently I've been pretty busy so I'm waiting for a slower time, but to be honest it will probably never happen :/ and I just have to make time for happiness. In last few months I have been in search of happiness in my daily life and I found great book by Gretchen Rubin Happiness Project helping to find and appreciate all those little things tat make us happy. I just started a happy thread: what makes you happy so everyone can jump in anytime they have something to share :). layouts, pictures or stories - what ever is easier at that moment for you.
I'm not on instagram, but am going to do it and link on facebook:

I love this idea!
I think you're already following me, Marisa, but in case anyone else wants to follow, I'm at http://www.instagram.com/honeyandcheese - I'm on my 4th day of #100happydays! :)
I've seen this around too and it looks like fun! http://instagram.com/zonemama
What a good idea this is, I'm not on Instagram and probably won't be though ... I can't even get to my facebook these days .... it's like a gratitude journal ....
also - this is my soundtrack for work this week: http://24hoursofhappy.com/
fun! not sure I'll remember every day, but super cool! :) I'm megbertapelle (same as pretty much everywhere LOL) :)
Okay, I think I figured it out. I'm WIFEYBUTTON on Instagram. I'm registering now so I can start today!
I don't use instagram very often but I'm one of those glass half empty kind of people and that's the thing I want to change most about myself so I really want to do this challenge. So when I take photos on Instagram, do I add a hashtag or something? LOL I told you I'm not very good at it. My name on Instagram should be listed as Amber Button but if there's something else you need to find me, just let me know. =)
